Cute stamps

Bought during my trip to Amsterdam. Cute tiny stamps with 3 stamppads all with four colors of ink!

(Hema is the name of the store. Sort of department store, large but not huge, fast changing inventory, great home decor items with lovely colors and designs and wonderful office/school supplies. I wish NY had a Hema!)

I hardly find any time doing anything else then working on projects for my upcoming book, but yesterday evening i tried out this stamp carving thing. It's not the thing i do best, but for a first try i think this owl came out pretty cute. A loooong time ago, back in the beginning of highschool i remember having cut linoleum. You know that material that is so tough to cut. Nowadays there are soft cutting carving blocks. (or of course you can use erasers, but i don't know how they work, i have the feeling they break and crumble?)
For this owl i will go back and adjust, make the carvings a bit deeper to get rid of the side marks that don't belong and make the lines a bit sharper.
A second birdy is already in the making. Will show soon!
