History
Born in Amsterdam, Ismoyo discovered at a very young age that finished art and craft projects gave her an instant smile. Her creative journey started with crayons and scraps of paper.
Her art history classes in high school inspired her even more. Drawing constantly, writing and making mixed media collages. There always was a 'current project' to work on.
Combining her knowledge of computers and love for drawing was a natural step. Working on digital illustrations and pretty designs became another outlet for Ismoyo's creativity.
During the summer of 2005 she got her first sewing machine, and with the genes handed down from her mother, a talented designer, she added sewing to her creative adventures.
Two years later, June 2007, she made the move overseas to the inspiring city of New York. Where everyday is an adventure!
A long awaited shop filled with original handmade Ismoyo items opened in the summer of 2008.
