No food

Except this mixture of water, maple syrup, lemons and cayenne pepper. I'm doing a master cleanse detox. Yes. I wasn't sure if i was going to talk about it here on my blog, it's not really a creative project, but it is some kind of project right? I'm on day four now, so tomorrow i can say i'm halfway! I wanted to do this for a long time already, but never found the 'right' time. Currently my Love is on a trip to Europe (yes, i miss him very much) and thus there is nobody that is eating around me and tempting me with food.
The first two days i was very low in energy, but yesterday and today it's much better! It feels good to release the body from all the build up toxins. (loosing a bit of weight is an added bonus) And i'm not even hungry! I do feel like eating, strangely yesterday i even craved a Big Mac! If you know, i don't eat red meats so that was a weird craving. Today i'm thinking of sushi a lot. And salads. So that's better. But i'm strong, i'm sticking to the lemonade mixture and some herbal teas.

Why am i writing about this? I could use some extra online support "You can do this" "You're almost half way already!", and i noticed i was away from my blog for a couple of days, don't want you to worry, so this is sort of my explanation for absence.
I'll be back tomorrow. Can you say Book Cover?

i found that when i detox it's not the going without solids that is so hard on me,.. it's adding them BACK into my diet after the fast is over.

just go slow and you should be fine.
working up from the broth and tea.

good job!

Funny, I used to sell this at the Natuurwinkel in Amsterdam. Some people thought it would be 'easy' and I often ended up having to tell them things they didn't want to hear...

I know how tough it is so hang in there and keep drinking the tea. A detox is not just physical but very much a mental thing as well.

But you'll feel sooooo much better after! Just keep that in mind :)

I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now but have not found the right time. It's very difficult when you have a husband and a little girl who are hungry all the time. Keep it up girl you are almost done!
