Make ironing fun

Ok. I admit it. I don't iron. I do press. Yes there is a difference. The first involves daily clothes, pants, blouses, ironing. The second involves new creative projects in progress. I use my iron and ironing board to press when necessary.
Here in the NY apartment i only have a small Pressa ironing board, got it at Ikea.
(Check the link for a before picture) I already didn't really like the fabric on the board when i got it, but used it as-is anyway. Not too important. But when it got so dirty (working on a lot of small projects including Wonder Under can leave a glue residue on the board that won't come off in laundry) it became time to make a new fabric cover. And if you do so, why not make it from one of your favorite fabrics? So I did.

Yes there is a difference and I don't iron either!
How cute is your ironing board?! I adore it. I should go check out Ikea and see if I can go get one =)
Thanks for letting me know i'm not alone in not ironing (only pressing) and for agreeing there is a difference!
Gracie, go for it! And you can always change the cover too, make it look pretty!
Thanks a lot for the comments you leave in my blog! And your works are so beautiful! Amazing collages! I´d like to ask you if you could please remind me the name of that great shop you visited in Amsterdam, where you got the nice stamps. I´ve tried to find the post but could´nt find it... And as long as Berlin and Amsterdam are quite close, I´d love to go shopping there! Thanks a lot in advance!
Kisses,
Silvia ^w^
BTW, I was also born in june, the 8th, and you?!
Hey Silvia! That store with the stamps and other lovely things is called the Hema. It's a large store with multiple locations in the city. Everyone knows it, you can't miss it!
And my b-day is close to yours, June 3rd! Gemini baby!
