Issey is back!

Hello....?
Anybody still there?
Ismoyo is back from her journey to London and Amsterdam! Slept off my jetlag and back to work again. But first, the story:
London was great. I had three days there. The first day i've met with Tess, who was wonderful, kind and generous. The next two days were spent in the studio with the creative director of my book and a photographer. We shot a lot of step by step tutorial pictures. All went well and quick, so the first day there was time to go out and have original English beers (i'm not a beer drinker perse, but when in Rome...) and a lovely dinner. The last day we ended early and i went to the publishers' office to meet everyone there. They were very kind, very busy too, one week before the London Book Fair, but still they made time to meet and talk to me.
The following morning i was picked up at 4am to get to the airport to catch my flight to Amsterdam. Yep, the new terminal 5 at Heathrow. No fun, i recommend to try to avoid this terminal for the near future if you can. I was lucky enough to fly out even though everything took forever!

Being back in the Netherlands was amazing. It had been almost a year since i left. I had a busy schedule but in the end i had met up with almost all my friends and family members! Everyday i woke up knowing it would be another joyful day meeting up with the ones i had to miss when in NY.
Time just flew by and before i knew it, it was already time to get back to the big apple.
