It's out of control
My favorite collage journal is officially out of control. There is no way to get it flat anymore. Or anyway near flat.I already had made a elastic type strap out of polkadotted bias band but even that can barely hold it together anymore. But that is not really the problem. The journal is to thick to put under my scanner! And it is filled with lovely inspirational pages which i would love to share here.
So i guess i'll have to take pictures of the pages, but how to keep the journal open on a certain page?
And how to post them is another question, one, two maybe three large posts filled with photos of pages or a page a day (or weekly, or ad random)
Let me try some things out and ponder it some more.
In the past i had scanned some pages from this journal and my other collage journals, but then i could still fit it under my scanner...

Wow, I love the look of your journal, it is neat! I collect notebooks, is your journal a notebook too? Beautiful cover! Must be full with treasures :)
Your 'fat' journal look really cool with the polka dot band, take photos (we don't mind seeing your fingers, or a peg will suffice?)
Oh how fun, I used to keep an art journal when I was in high school. That's a great way to get my creative juices flowing. I know you didn't intentionally mean to , but thanks for the inspiration.

Put a piece of clear glass on top of the page you wanna photograph. Make sure it's heavy enough. that might help.
I'm gonna make pictures of the pages. I think i'm going to try tweaty's idea with the glass on top. Hope it works!
