Vintage baby
Very much inspired by my pregnant friend lately. I've made a simple pattern for baby bibs. Planning to use vintage fabrics and decorate with sweet trims. But decided to first make one or two asap (as simple as possible). Trial runs.
My friend will be asked to use, wash and test it.
If it survives usage and laundry (which i think it will) i will be making more (decorated) vintage bibs!
Another thing vintage fabric related in my mind are baby dresses.I have a pattern in my head. I know how i want it to come out. But i haven't made any sketses yet. Not sure if i want to figure it out by myself or go out and look for a premade pattern which resembles the one in my mind. The last would be the best choice regarding sizing. I don't know about measurements for baby clothes and i don't know if i want to figure it out before i can start.
Because? I found these wonderful vintage pillow cases which would be great to use as fabric for little girls dresses.
We'll know as soon as i figured out the pattern thing, because then i will be cutting and sewing these wonderfull old flowery fabrics!

Hi Natascha, thanks for stopping by!
It's not a bag that you see in this post, it's a baby bib...
Hope you still like it ;)
Hi Ismoyo
Yeah I still like how you designed it ;)
It's just me who is a stupid Scandinavian who doesn't know the word "bip" and is too lazy to look it up xD
In Danish it's called something which no way have any kind of hint of the word "bip" ; "hagesmæk"
I think I'll try to use the basic shape and style with the ribbons as inspiration to make myself a bag :)
Best Regards!
Natasha
Id just die for some of that orange border print fabric!
