Be friends and play nice

Introducing 3 of my small vintage vinyl dolls from my doll collection.
I love the way they look so similar, but so different at the same time with their different facial expressions. So happy. Or so sad.
Don't you just love those adorable freckles? (as far as you can see those on the picture)

The curly one on the left had a signature H.K. on the bottom. My first thought was that that indicated Hong Kong. But why would it? Wouldn't it then say "Hong Kong" instead? It might as well be the makers name. It's a vintage mystery.
The other two are marked as made by Iwai Industrial in 1971 in Korea.

How uncanny that you got these from different places, but they look so similar! Love the one in the centre.

Ooh those are scary! Or cute...i'm not sure. I like that someone else fills their home with collections of strange old dolls.

Just wanted to let you know there is so many more of these dolls. The are made by the Imperial Crown Toy Co. and are called Moody Cutie Dolls. They are hard to find but I have over 30 of them. They come in all different color dresses and skin tones. I even found one that is 6" tall. If you ever want to sell them let me know.

Hi MNK,
Thanks for letting me know the name of the dolls. I have a whole collection of them too. So adorable.
I'm not planning on selling them anytime soon. I like them too much and most of them are still in Amsterdam.
Do you have pictures of yours?

xoxo Issey
