Flowery Femme

I wish I had more time to make vector images like this. Or that making vector images wouldn't take so much time..
This is one of those illustrations I start working on and can't stop, no matter what time it is. All lines and shapes just have to be put in place first. I love the whole process of getting to the final result. Figuring out what has to go where. I try not to go with my first ideas. Too obvious. What else is possible? Then go for the second or third version. See how far I can expand my creative sources.

When I looked at the illustration full screen, my first thought was I wanted to have it on a cover of a notebook. It would be my favorite! (and I have many) Guess I'll be printing, cutting and pasting to get what I want.
Second thought was to turn it into a new desktop background. And if so, why not share? Are you in need of spicing up your screen?
It's a personal freebie! Click on the image, a larger version will open up. Right click and choose "Set as background". Voila. (It's set for 1024x768 screen resolution)
