76 Degrees t-shirt reconstruction

I got this large green boys tshirt from a big pile at the local market. Thought it could be turned into something cute and used to try out some things.
Like the sleeves. Not sure if i like them too much, but i wanted to try and see if i could make them. Now i know i can, don't think I'll be making them again any time soon. Or maybe i will, but I'll make them less wide. I think I'll try that. Could end up pretty if I'd make them small and ruffled.
I do like how the collar came out. I had made some sketches before i started, so i felt really prepared.

But overall, the outcome of the reconstruction does make me smile.
And there is nothing pink in it for once.

Looks great, especially love the collarI think if you removed the sleeves it'd be very wearable.

Your T looks so sweet now. I wonder if I can use this method to "enlarge" the T shirts that my daughter is outgrowing. Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea!

Did you have any instructions to go by, or did you just wing it? I'm just now about to start experimenting with this t-shirt reconstruction stuff, and I think the shirt came out really cute!

Hi Jen, Thank you for visiting my blog!
I just winged it with this reconstruction. What you can do is use a tanktop you love as sort of a 'template' as you will, to give the tshirt the desired shape.
