Illustration "Omerta"

I often use vintage photographs as inspiration for my artwork. Overall I tend to make more illustrations with women in them then with men. Today is the exception. A lot of old pictures of my mother are great to use, but how can I neglect my handsome father?

Shall I explain what Omerta means or just leave it like it is. Who knows, knows, who doesn't, doesn't. Not that I don't want to share, but it's kind of intriguing to see who does know.

I'll post a larger version on my gallery pages soon. The original larger version has a delicate striped background, which you unfortunately can't see in this smaller web image.
