Reconstructed North Sea Jazz shirt into dress

My man gave me this huge pile of old t-shirts he isn't wearing anymore.
Woohoo! More fabric to work with, more shirts to reconstruct!

I started out with this North Sea Jazz Festival 2000 t-shirt. I think he might have gotten that one from his father, since he played the festival a couple of times.

First I cut out the pattern with the shape I wanted the top part to be in. Front and back.
The back of the original shirt has the word 'Buma Stemra' printed on it. (Buma Stemra is the Dutch copyright organization for composers and songwriters)
Next, I found another XL t-shirt in the same grey color to use for the bottom part of the dress and cut out the pattern for this.

After sewing everything together and adding some green bias binding as decoration, I ended up with a new summer dress!
