My first zippered pouch

I kinda never dared to put in a zipper somewhere before. It was just time to face the fact that if i want to be versatile, at least i have to know how to put a zipper somewhere!
After taking a close look at the zipper foot of my sewing machine i decided it couldn't be too scary, so i grabbed some green/grayish fabric and some bright pink, took a deep breath and closed my eyes. Well, not really, but i started sewing.


The pink applique with green stones isn't too great. I didn't want to spend too much time on this little bag, since it really is just a try out. But to leave the front entirely empty, well that's just not my steelo.
The flower is on a pin, so i can take that off if i would want to.


Right now the bag is on the dresser in my bedroom. I've put in all kinds of small thingies that were lying around there.
