Dutch Treats
When my parents came to visit they came with gifts. A lot! Some where things that were already mine, but didn't came with me before when i moved to NY, but a lot were real surprises. LIke these pretty tins filled with Dutch Treats!

I once had some dutch biscuits that were like syrupy waffle biscuits? Really heavy but sooo nice!
Yes, the round tin on the right is filled with those cookies! Stroopwafels or Syrup waffles. So yummy!
They are the best when they are just made, you can get them fresh at markets when they are still warm!
I don't know why i didn't write what was inside the tins. Weird of me. The left tin has Boterbabelaars. Hard buttery candies.
